The president of Somaliland Muuse Biixi Abdi welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden in the palace Amb. Joachim Waern.
The two discussed the strengthening of the ties between Somaliland and Sweden, and also followed the meeting of the Sweden government to support the development of the community.
Bihi also addressed the issues of forthcoming Somaliland election, the security of the East Africa region.
They also talked about the continued push for international recognition by republic of Somaliland.
The president of Somaliland was accompanied by the deputy minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, Mrs. Roda Jaamac Elmi.
