Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilaahi (Cirro) chaired his first cabinet meeting on Sunday, a day after he named the ministers.
The meeting held at the Presidential palace was also attended by the vice president Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi.
President Irro briefed the ministers of their duties and his expectations of them.
He also shared with them the programs that guide his government’s progress, according to the plan of the Party’s book which consist of six chapters (6), which are the base for cooperation and visible action.
The president whipped the cabinet of his plan for the first 100 days and told them of the expectations from the citizens on the new government.
On the other hand, the council of ministers delves into the amendment of the regulation of the regulations of the government No.71/2015 which is aimed at changing the structure of the ministries and independent agencies to comply with the regulations.
The president talked about the security issues in parts of Sanaag region, and the president repeated the peace call.
