Waddani party campaign continued in top gear with Dr Mohamed Abdillahi Omar, the deputy chairman of the party meeting foreign diplomats in Nairobi.
Omar took the chance to state the party”s manifesto.
He said: “During a meeting with Western diplomats in Nairobi, I discussed the preparations for the upcoming Somaliland elections and how Abdirahman Irro’s government would engage with the world and African nations if he wins.”
“We also talked about the policies affecting the Horn of Africa, the Red Sea, and the importance of increasing political participation for women in Somaliland.
“Additionally, we addressed the government’s plans to resolve the conflict in Lasanood.
He said the international community is planning significant meetings with Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi in Nairobi soon to restore trust and cooperation. This was stated by Dr. Mohamed Abdillahi Omar, the Deputy Chairman of the Waddani Party.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday Omar met with the Swedish ambassador to Somalia and Somaliland.
“Today I met the ambassador of Sweden to Somalia and Somaliland Ambassador Joachim Waern in his office. We have discussed the issues of the upcoming elections in Somaliland and the preparations that are underway,” he said.
“Since Sweden is one of the biggest countries, take support from it.”

They also discussed about the political initiatives of Wadani party towards economic, peace and international relations.
“These diplomatic practices by Wadani party are part of the efforts to bring back political stability, economic development and international customer service to achieve the goals and ambitions of Somaliland people.”
