Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi fired the Minister of Development and Investment, Abdullahi Abdirahman Aare, and attorney general, Hassan Ahmed Adan.
In their place, the president appointed Amina Elmi Farid Baded as the minister of Investment and Abdirahman Jamac Hayaan Horri as the Attorney General.
It remains unclear why the minister and attorney general were sacked. However, it comes barely days after Somaliland opposition leaders declared that they no longer recognize Muse Bihi as a legitimate President after his mandate officially ended on November 13.
