The president of the republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro), today attended the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Somaliland Police Force,.
This event was held at the big hall of the Police Force in Hargeisa city.
The president gave a speech that was about gratitude and encouragement while praising the JSL Police Force greatly for their hard work and the historical role of the Police Force in keeping the peace, security, stability and unity of Somaliland.
The president congratulated the commander of the police of JSL for the tangible development that the police force has done in the short period of his administration.
The president noted that the police force of JSL is the base of peace where the country sits, sleep and wake up adding that the police force is the backbone of governance and a sign of solidarity and unity of the nation.
The president said that his administration is committed to the quality and modernization of the police force of JSL to meet the needs of security and the constantly changing society, so that they can fulfill their national responsibilities of protecting the law, peace and the wealth of the civilians.
The Commemoration of the 32nd Anniversary of the Foundation of the Police JSL, the Commander of the Police of the JSL, Mr. Abdirahman Abdillahi Hassan, Minister of Interior and National Security, Mr. Abdalle Maxamed Carab and the Operation Leader, Mr. Ibrahim Haji Abdi who all the Police gave information about the important issues that happened to the Police force. JSL during the short period that the government of Wadajir and its action.
Likewise, they highly praised the hard work that the National Police Force are doing, and they appreciated the bravery, honesty and efforts they have shown to keep the security and peace of the nation.
The president urged them to continue their service, honesty and patriotism for 32 years, while the peace loving civilians of Somaliland to stand with them and work with their police.
