The president of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro) along with the chairman of the national peace committee had a meeting with the higher committee and the executive director of the academy of peace and development JSL.
The president said the Academy of Peace and Development have an important role in the building of the nation of JSL, especially in the peace, development and progress of the Democratic process.
The president also said that the Academy has a good name and reputation which they have gained from the knowledge, experience and research that the academy has done, which is a national treasure and inheritance.
The president assured the academy that his administration will work fully with the academy of peace and development JSL.
From their side, the Supreme Committee and the Executive Director of Peace and Development Academy thanked the president for the important meeting and promised to strengthen the cooperation between the new Somaliland government and the academy, especially in the areas related to peace, stability, reconciliation, and the democracy process. And the good governance.
The High Committee of the Academy of Peace and Development expressed great hope for a fruitful cooperation based on the general interest of the National JSL.
The president urged the high committee and the executive director of the academy to return the value and the previous role they had in the country.
