The meeting of the council of Somaliland ministers chaired by the president of the republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilaahi (Cirro) met to discuss issues relating to security, health and education matters in the country.
The president briefed the ministers on the latest efforts to make peace in Ceerigaabo district and the nationhood of the civil army which are in good position.
He thanked the security committee led by the vice president for leading the peace activities in Ceerigabo.
The security minister had appraised the cabinet on the general security situation in the country while the health minister talked on the burden in the eastern regions and the issues that need to be addressed urgently.
There was a detailed information regarding the evaluation of the national technical schools, the setting of the application of the technical schools, the number and quality of the other technical institutions provided by the education minister while the water minister briefed the cabinet on the water needs in the Eastern Regions. He said the government is handling several projects including digging boreholes and wells.
The minister for planning and development gave a report about the implementation of the first 100 days, and its strategic map to strengthen the development of Somaliland, the political structure and the power of the national organizations.
The minister of air and airport development talked of plans to facilitate the international airplanes coming to Somaliland
