    Waddani making inroads in Kulmiye strongholds

    The Wadani party is making string inroads in the eastern region, attracting thousands of people who are calling for change.

    A large delegation, led by candidate Abdirahman Irro and Wadani party chairman Hirsi Ali Hasan was warmly welcomed by thousands in the districts of Sahel region, including Dakar-Budhuq and Abdal.

    They then traveled to Berbera, the capital of the Sahel region, where they they were hugely welcomed by a massive crowd.

    Speaking in Berbera, Irro encouraged people to vote for change in the country. The delegation will also meet with intellectuals, youth, and politicians in the region during their visit.

    Earlier, The Waddani Party held a large parade in Gabilay City , where they were warmly welcomed.

    A big crowd of supporters gathered to greet the Waddani delegation on the outskirts of Gabilay. Gabilay, which used to strongly support the Kulmiye Party. Meanwhile, Kulmiye leaders, using government power, tried to manage the crowd, but the supporters’ desire for change was too strong to be controlled.
