Minister of Environment and Climate Change JSL Mr. Cabdillahi Jamac Osman (Geeljire) and his delegation who are on a visit to the United Kingdom met with the Minister of Climate Mrs. Kerry McCarthy.
The meeting that took place at the office of the Minister of the UK Parliament in Westminister included a group of experts from the ministries of the country who are working with Somaliland.
Minister Geeljire told the media that he had talked with Minister McCarthy about the development of the country JSL in general and the new government led by President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro).
Minister McCarthy received a proposal from the delegation of Somaliland and submitted to the team of experts who were at the meeting and directed them to put the appropriate response to action.
Minister of Environment and Climate Change JSL Mr. Abdilahi J. Osman Geeljire relayed a message from the president of JSL to the Prime Minister of UK Mr. Keir Starmer who talked about the current relationship between the two countries.
Minister Geeljire will continue his planned meetings with the leaders of the UK and the Somaliland community living in the country.
