Somaliland opposition partyy Waddani is calling on the country’s citizens to rally behind the party when the elections are held at the end of the year to defeat the ruling party Kyulmiye candidate President Muse Bihi.
At an event to show support to the secretary of the industries of Waddani Sakariye Cabdiraxmaan Ismail (Suldaan) in Hargeisa, Waddani presidential candidate Murashax Cabdiraxmaan Ciro said the people should have the constitutional right to support any party and should come out in large numbers to register as voters and also during the elections.
“The people of Somaliland your power is the voice, ” Murashax Cabdiraxmaan Ciro said during the ceremony.
The party chairman Hersi Ali Haji Hassan said its time Somaliland nationals voted for change.
“I am calling on the community to vote for the change of the opposition if you know who (president) Muuse is… “Chairman Xirsi said.
