Bihi fires Planning and Agriculture ministers and several deputies in mini reschuffle

President Musa Bihi Abdi has sacked two minister as he made mini-changes in his cabinet on Monday.

Sent home is the Planning minister, Hon. Omar Ali Abdilahi and agriculture minister, Mr. Mohamed Haji Osman Jama.

Replacing them are Ahmed Adan Ahmed Buhane who assumes the planning docket while Abdikadir Iman Warsame to take up the agriculture ministry.

The changes also saw the deputy minister of information Abdirahman Ali Abdi, deputy national planning minister Ahmed Hassan Nur, chairman of Somaliland National Insurance Agency Sulieman Ali Awad Bukhari, deputy chairwoman of National Insurance Agency Ms. Sahra Adan Yusuf, assistant chairman of quality control commission Abdiwasac Mohamed Yusuf, and the Director General of the Transport Ministry Ahmed Abokor Mohamed fired.

It was not immediately clear why the president made the unexpected changes in his government.
