Leading Africa money transfer company Dahabshiil has received two Global Good Governance awards from cambridgeIFA a global institution, for Best services to Diaspora and Excellence in Money Transfer.
Dahabshiil which has roots in over 120 countries across the world has played a key role in boosting the economy of African nations through remittances from the diaspora over the last two decades.
An elated Dahabshiil Group Chief Executive Officer Abdirashid Duale said the award is in recognition of the role the company has played in socio economic development in the areas it operates in.
Duale expressed his appreciation to the organisers for recognising the work that Dahabshiil does and reiterated the company’s goal to facilitate financial transactions to vulnerable communities and those supporting them even in the most remote areas.
Duale at the same time thanked Dahabshiil’s customers, staff, agents and their continued support.
